New ICFOnians
Sixteen ICFOnians joined the different ICFO research groups, units and facilities during the month of April.
In the years since ICFO’s founding in 2002, the institute has continuously evolved to tackle a wide range of exciting challenges. This has been possible thanks to the contributions of a diverse group of women and men who have come onboard to add their unique skills to ICFO’s new and ongoing projects.
In April, new ICFOnians joined the institute or took a new position.
Carmen Cespedes joins ICFO’s Human Resources team as Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator.

Raffaele D’Avino joins ICFO as a PhD student in the Quantum Information Theory research group led by ICREA Prof Dr Antonio Acín.
