Seminars
Part 2: Non-invasive, optical measurement of cerebral blood flow as a biomarker of injury, therapy and recovery; a clinical story
April 7th, 2020 TURGUT DURDURAN ICFO

Part II: I will put the technologies described in Part I in the context of clinical translation. This will be presented in the context of a major clinical condition -- ischemic stroke -- and as a multi-disciplinary, longitudinal effort spanning work over ~15 years.

Everything will be put in the context of the clinical need and the clinical work-flow paying special attention to the common pitfalls that one encounters in this type of multi-disciplinary, translational work. I will end this seminar with a short discussion about future directions of the technology and the new physics associated with them.
