Competitive Salaries and High Job Satisfaction for Workers in Optics and Photonics Sector

Each year, SPIE, The international society for optics and photonics, publishes a survey including indicators for entry-level pay, job satisfaction, and highest-paid areas for workers in the photonics sector. According to Adam Resnick, SPIE Marketing Analyst and author of the report, “We believe that the survey has become a highly-trusted source for job seekers and hiring managers across academia, industry, and government.”

This year’s survey, the ninth edition just published in Optics.org, builds on data from more than 6,000 individuals working in 104 countries.
